You must have eir Fibre or eir Vision from eir in order to register for eir Movies.

If you are an eir Vision customer and wish to view eir Movies on your TV, click on the 'eir Movies' tile on the main menu, accept the Terms and Conditions, select your film and enter your 4 digit PIN.  Your film will then appear in My Rentals and then you can start viewing.

If you are an eir Vision customer and wish to view on other screens (e.g. a mobile or a tablet), or you are an eir Fibre customer who does not subscribe to eir Vision, you need to register on My eir.

You will need to provide the following information to register:

• eir account number
• eir Fibre number
• Your name
• Email address
• Password

Remember to click on the link in the email to activate your My eir account. If you haven’t received an email, check your spam or junk mail folder.

Once you have an active My eir account you will need to login to eir Movies via the website or mobile app. This will activate your account.

Yes, you can watch our trailers and read information about the films without registering or logging in. On the TV, you must accept the Terms and Conditions on first use to browse the film store.

No, you cannot watch a film on the website or mobile device without first registering on My eir. Please visit My eir to register. If you are already registered on My eir you can access the service on the website and mobile devices.

No, you only pay for the films you watch.

No, registration is free for eir Vision and eir Fibre customers.

Only eir Fibre and eir Vision customers can register for the service. Existing customers can use it in Ireland and the UK only. This includes the Channel Islands and Isle of Man.

You can change your password on My eir. Login to the site, then select Change password option and follow the steps.

You can do that on My eir. Login to the site then select Change my email address option and follow the steps.

Your username is the email address you registered on My eir. Please visit My eir and follow the steps to retrieve your user name.

Please visit My eir and follow the steps to retrieve your password.

Please visit My eir and follow the steps to change your PIN.

Please contact our Technical Support Team on 1890 260 260 and they will suspend your eir Movies account on your request. Please note if you suspend your account you won't be able to watch any of the films you have rented or rent new films.

To close your account, please contact the eir Technical Support Team on 1890 260 260. Please be aware that if you close your account it cannot be reinstated and you will not be able to watch any of the films you have rented.

Your account may have been suspended for the following reasons 

• a problem with a payment
• if we believe that our Terms and Conditions have been breached
• on your request.

If your eir Movies account was suspended, please contact our Technical Support Team on 1890 260 260

Once you rent a film, the charge will be automatically added to your next eir bill.

When you have chosen your film, you will have to agree to add charges into your bill before you can watch it. Charges will appear on you next eir bill.

If you have chosen to stream your film then most films start playing in a few seconds depending on your broadband speed.

If you have chosen to download your film, you will need to do this before you start watching.

• If you're a PC user, you can open eir Movies Downloads from the desktop.
• If you use Mac, please go to Downloads and select eir Movies Downloads.

You can check which films you have paid for by visiting My Rentals, which shows the films you are currently renting. My History shows the films you have rented that have now expired.

If the charge does not correspond with a film in My Rentals or My History, please contact our Customer Care team.  Please remember to keep your account and password secure at all times.

Yes, you can browse our film library, watch trailers and read film information without being charged.

The price depends on the film that you choose to watch. You can see a film’s price either by clicking on the film. All prices include VAT.

Yes, once you start watching a film, you can watch it an unlimited number of times during its View time. The View time starts the first time you press Play. This is generally 48 hours.

Yes, if you decide to watch a film, and agree to pay it, the cost will be added to your next eir bill. So please make sure you want to watch the film before you rent it.

If you have low bandwidth, we recommend you download your film.

Please choose carefully between downloading and streaming as once you have chosen your option this cannot be changed within this rental period.

If you have not registered with us, but have been billed for our service, please contact our Eir Mobile Customer Care.
