eir Sport is the home to the 7 channel eir Sport pack, which includes eir Sport 1 &2, 4 BT Sport channels, including BT Sport ESPN and BoxNation free of charge and without eating into your data allowance! We’ve got heart-stopping action with Premier League Games, every Champions League Game, every Europa League Game as well as European Rugby Champions Cup, UFC, Allianz Leagues GAA, Golf, F1 and much more.

eir residential Broadband customers, and eir Mobile customers availing of select plans can access eir Sport for free.

Eligible eir Mobile Plans include:

• Mobile 400 10GB + Roaming
• Mobile Unlimited 15GB + Roaming
• Mobile Unlimited 30GB + Roaming

This depends on the type of service you have with us:

Residential broadband customers:  If you have residential broadband with us, you have two live streams

Mobile customers: If you have your mobile service with us, you have one live stream

Streaming eir Sports on the eir Mobile and Meteor network is free. It will not eat into your monthly data allowance. If you are a mobile customer of another mobile network, data charges will apply. We recommend connecting to WiFi.

First things first - You'll need your My eir login to access the eir Sport app. If you haven't registered for My eir just yet, find out what you need to do here.

How to watch:

eir residential Broadband customers

eir Sport can be watched on your TV through your set-top box, streamed live via your browser or on the eir Sport (green) app for Android and iOS users. eir Sport can be streamed on the following devices:

• Android 4.4 smartphones & tablets
• Windows and Mac computers
• iOS version 8 & above will be required

Please note that Google Chrome, Firefox (v52 and above) and Microsoft Edge browsers do not support the streaming of eir Sport online.

eir Mobile customers

eir Sport can be streamed via the eir Sport Just Mobile (Red) app for iOS and Android users. eir Sport can be streamed on the following devices:

• iOS devices using version iOS8 and above
• Android 4.4 smartphones & tablets

No browser access is available, and Chromecast is not supported.

Did you know if you are an eir broadband customer you also have access to stream on another 2 devices using the eir Sport (Green)app?

Yes, if you are an eir Broadband customer, and avail of Sky TV services, you can view eir Sport via  your Sky set top box free of charge for up to 2 viewing cards (1 main and 1 multi room). Further viewing cards can be added at a rate of €25 per card per month. All viewing cards activated must be at the registered address of the eir Broadband account.

eir residential Broadband customers

Google Chrome, Firefox (v52 and above) and Microsoft Edge browsers do not support the streaming of eir Sport online.

Mobile customers

You can use the eir Sport Just Mobile app anywhere in the Republic of Ireland. ISP and data charges may apply if you’re connected to 3G or 4G network other than the Meteor or eir Mobile network

Please be aware that eir Sport does not support Airplay, any web browser, HDMI adapters or Chromecast.

Streaming eir Sport on the eir Mobile and Meteor network is free. It will not eat into your monthly data allowance. If you are a mobile customer of another mobile network, then data charges will apply.

eir Mobile customers on eligible plans should download the eir Sport Just Mobile app

eir residential Broadband customers should download the eir Sport app

You can watch eir Sport on up to 2 devices (e.g. smartphone and tablet), with one device swap allowed per calendar month. To swap one of your registered devices, follow these 5 easy steps:

• Log in to the App from the new device you want to watch eir Sport on
• Click 'Settings'  and choose 'Device Management'
• Select the device you no longer need
• Click on 'Remove device' option
• Choose '+' symbol to login and register your new device.

When you log-in to eir Sport on the device you wish to use, this device will register automatically as one of your allocated devices. Please note, that if you are an eir Mobile customer, you can only stream (play) content on one device at a time.

Yes - to enable Parental Control please follow these steps:

1. Ensure you're logged in to the eir Sport app or website
2. Open 'Settings'
3. Switch Parental Control to ‘On’
4. Enter a 4 digit PIN

Please note that after enabling Parental Control all content rated 15 and above will require your PIN to view the content.

• Ensure you're logged in to the eir Sport app
• Open 'Settings'
• Click Change PIN
• Enter current 4 digit PIN
• Enter new 4 digit PIN
• Confirm 4 digit PIN
• Click OK

• Ensure you're logged in to the eir Sport app
• Open 'Settings'
• Click Reset PIN
• Enter Email/Password
• Enter new 4 digit PIN
• Confirm 4 digit PIN
• Click OK

Buffering may occur due to insufficient network speed.

Due to contractual obligations and to ensure content protection, eir Sport can’t be used on rooted Android devices or jailbroken Apple devices.

You can change your My eir password by logging in to My eir and selecting 'Change password' under My eir settings.

Sorry to hear you're experiencing difficulties. There are a couple of things we need to check:

• Check your app:

eir residential broadband customers: Make sure you’re logging in to the eir Sport app
Mobile customers: Make sure you're logging in to the eir Sport Just Mobile app

• eir Mobile customers - are you on an eligible plan?

eir Sport is available on the following plans

• Mobile 400 10GB + Roaming
• Mobile Unlimited 15GB + Roaming
• Mobile Unlimited 30GB + Roaming

If you are not on one of the selected eir Mobile plans please note the following;

• If you are in contract - you can change to one of these plans providing the monthly cost is the same as your current plan
• If you are not in contract, you can move to one of these plans at any stage.
• NB: If you do change plan -access to the eir Sport Just Mobile app will start working 24 hours after your new plan becomes active.

Some programmes may not be available to watch on the eir Sport app due to content restrictions. Those programmes are greyed out in the programme guide.

Sorry to hear you're experiencing difficulties. There are a couple of things we need to check:

• Check if you can watch eir Sport via browser here
• If there is a blank area displayed where the player should be, it is likely that Microsoft Silverlight has not been installed. You should be offered the option to install Microsoft Silverlight. Alternatively you can download Microsoft Silverlight here.
• Check if your browser is supported:

Google Chrome, Firefox (v52 and above) and Microsoft Edge do not support Microsoft Silverlight which is required for the eir Vision Go service. You can use the following browsers:
Internet Explorer 11 – Download
Safari (for Mac) - Download

Some programmes are only available to watch on your home WiFi network. For a full list of channels and their availability please click here.

To enable Chromecast on the eir Sport App, you need the following:

• The most up to date version of the eir Sport app (green) downloaded on your device (phone / tablet).
• A valid My eir login.
• A Chromecast device and a TV with a USB/HDMI port.
• Google Home App installed on your device (phone / tablet).

Once you have downloaded the (Green) eir Sport App and set up your Chromecast, open the App and follow the on-screen prompts to cast.

All Residential eir Broadband customers can avail of the Chromecast compatible (Green) eir Sport App.

The following channels support casting on the eir Sport App:

• eir Sport 1
• eir Sport 2
• BT Sport 1
• BT Sport 2
• BT Sport 3
• BT Sport ESPN
• BoxNation

To ensure you have the latest version of the eir Sport App installed, visit the App Store or the Google Play Store and make sure you have accepted the latest app update.

eir Sport with Chromecast is supported on iOS devices running iOS 9 and above and Android v4.4 and above.

Chromecast is not available on the eir Sport Just Mobile (Red) App – Sign up to eir Broadband today to send sport from the small screen to the big screen!

Good News! As an eir Mobile/Meteor customer, usage of the eir Sport App or casting will not use any of your mobile data allowance. Another great reason to choose eir!

• Ensure you have updated to the latest version of the (Green) eir Sport App.
• Ensure your Chromecast device and your phone/tablet are connected to the same Broadband connection and frequency. E.g – eir1234567 – 2.4G or eir1234567 – 5G.
